About The Movement

“ending the fear of domestic abuse with empowered voices”

Our Vision is to be a collaborative international movement of professional women giving women survivors of domestic abuse their power and control back.

Our Mission is to empower women with our stories and knowledge around domestic abuse. In addition, we want to help them identify unhealthy relationships and take appropriate actions to escape the physical and/or emotional trauma they have experienced over time. Finally, we want to show them that there is no stigma around being a survivor of domestic abuse through our courage.

Our Objective and long term goal is to end the fear and stigma of abusive relationships that include but are not limited to physical, emotional and sexual abuse and coercive control by showing women that they are strong and have a voice and a choice in their future. Our insight, experiences and courage to speak out, will offer alternative options and choices toward healthier future relationships.

How it all Began

Changing Survivors Lives

Founded in 2021, The Living Free From Fear Movement, started with a voice and a vision.  One woman, Karen Messina, with a deep desire to empower survivors of abuse, reached out to other like minded women and without hesitation the movement was born.

No One Should be Silenced

As a large movement of women survivors, Outreach is close to our hearts. We believe that the best solution for living without fear comes from the strength and courage of those that have overcome abuse. We plan to make it our mission to build awareness so that women feel safe across the globe.

Our Movement is like a warm Group Hug around you and your story

Ensuring that All Voices are Heard

Advocacy is an essential pillar of our Social Movement. There is strength in numbers, and we work to inform and encourage others to take a stand for what they believe in. Want to learn more?
